Week-end of 9/12,13 I spent with my two sisters. Linda & I shopped a bit on Friday & I helped her steal pictures from model home. We stayed that evening with JaNae. First we hit Provo Mall and then sewed on a "Merry Go Round" quilt for Linda until 1 a.m. We started about 9 on Sat. morning and I left for home about 6:30. Busy and fun day; we had Linda on the iron with JaNae cutting and the two of us on sewing machines. Was able to shuttle Michelle for her ride to Logan to attend womens conference with Dave's mother and sisters. Linda is always good for new places to shop and JaNae keeps me up on the latest and greatest of anything, she can do it all. Intimidating when my girls go to their aunt JaNae when they want to make or learn something.
I was thinking of what this summer of 2008 has accomplished. We have entertained quite a few of Jason's friends on different week-ends. After the "lost" were found we camped at Pole Creek Camp ground in July. Tin foil dinners at midnight are the best! Fishing the next day at Hidden Lake with Echo and Schua was a joke, Les finally took them down the shore a ways. I brought several bug, fly bites (?) home to remember the week-end by. I've never had them swell so large. Hiking with Michelle from Rock Creek to Squaw Basin was awesome, expecially dangling our legs over the edge of a deep canyon wall watching a beautiful water fall. The girls Mother's Day shopping week-end was fun with Caleb and Macey along and then again to Swiss Days where Macey bought her pink pak pak. A picnic at Bridal Veil Falls and playing hide-n-seek on the way back to the car was a beautiful break in Provo Canyon which I fell in love with during my BYU days.
Cherry Hill water park was so fun, I could have spent all day on the lazy river, almost did. Our little Macey was so fun to watch and be with. Jason, Mike were able to come so was almost a family get together minus Dave and Michelle. Les has stuck to the yard with unbelievable tenacity and is fencing now; my 1st experience with petunia pots out front. I can't remember building homes through the years being so all consuming but this one has been just that. JaNae and family coming with boat, hot dog roast, and ice creams cones at Bluebell have topped off the summer and helped me realize again how blessed we are to have our family close by and enjoy them as adults. We appreciate them all and love the fun and excitment they continually add to our lives.

Intro
Ta Da! We have grass! At least some. Jason, Mike, Michelle, and Sue came to help lay it last night. I can't forget our little Macey. She was picking up scraps as fast as she could to fill in around a tree. When she had it all layed out she slapped her hands together and pronounced that it was "perfect". At one point she husseled over to the east side and said, "hey guys, do you need any help"? It is no small feat lugging wet rolls of sod with small, wiggly worms pressed up to your chest. There's no way you can do it at arms length. Thanks guys, we appreciate you so much.
